Palmyra: November 29, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. Survived by mother, Elaine Ellersick; sister, Mary Metcalfe (Ellersick); brothers, Dave, Brian (Debbie); several nieces, nephews, cousins and loving aunt, Marilyn Shenk. Mark was a dedicated Wegmans employee for 23 years.

Calling hours, Friday 11 AM – 1 PM at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home (Egypt location), 750 Pittsford Palmyra Road, Fairport where a Service will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, 3111 Winton Road South, Rochester 14623.

    i heard about this the other day and although mark me and others in his family have lost touch it saddensss me to read this mark was a great friend great worker and very sweet guy that lost his life way to soon he was caring giving loved all and you couldnt have a better friend, my heart felt sorrow goes out to the whole Ellersick family. mitch bernstein

    I worked with Mark for 17 years and have known him to be kind and hard working. I will miss you laughter and joking around. My prayers go out to you family and close friends. May you RIP.
