Paul was like the grandfather I never had, he was one of the most incredible men I have ever known. Between him and my dad anything could be fixed. I will forever hold him in my heart and cherish our memories dearly! Rest easy and have cup of coffee by the lake with Evie in heaven.
The “Golden Girls” as we called ourselves spent many hours in Evie and Paul’s home, Paul was a gracious host and good friend. We have missed those times together, and will miss Paul’s friendly smile. I pray for comfort for you David and your family. Ruby Bowman
My husband and I ( Larry & Flo Davis ) met Paul at Legacy and became instant fiends.
He brought joy to many hearts and we were so blessed to carry on our warm friendship
with him when we had to leave Legacy. Our phone calls kept us in touch frequently
We were blessed to have him as a friend..
I was lucky enough to have known Paul while serving him breakfast each day at the Legacy. He always had a smile. He was loved by all and will be missed so much.
Paul was my neighbor at the Legacy. He was so kind to me when I was dealing with my cancer issues. He would check in on me to see how I was doing and if I needed anything. I will miss him.
Paul was a great friend to me and my Dad. When I lost my Dad, Paul became my special friend. Enjoyed our time together. Hope he is enjoying talks with my Dad, and gets to meet my mom. Miss you Paul, you will always be in my heart.
I was a neighbor of Paul and Evy Parsons way back in the early 60’s in Buffalo NY. Paul had just graduated from Syracuse and I believe moved to Buffalo to start a new job. We lived in a apartment building that had four units, and the Parsons lived upstairs from us. My parents loved Paul and Evy and partied with them all the time. I was only 11 or 12 at the time, and my parents were in their mid thirties. Paul would take my younger brother and I to high school sporting events, giving us a ride in his ’56 Ford convertible. We thought he was the coolest guy. I remember on Saturday’s hearing him cheer on the Syracuse Orangemen on TV. Once he changed jobs and they moved to Rochester, we lost contact. Hopefully David and the family will get comfort knowing that some sixty years later an old friend still has fond memories of Paul and Evelyn.
