Sandra (Sandy) Miner passed away peacefully on April 12, 2021. Sandy was predeceased by her husband, William (Bill) Miner in 1987. Sandy is survived by her children Douglas Miner (Ann) and Linda Bretsch (Thomas), grandchildren Katelyn Karchon (Alex), Kristopher Miner, Katherine Gauger (Jacob), Matthew Bretsch, and great grandchild Thomas Gauger. Sandy was a graduate of Newark High School, and lived most of her life in Newark before moving to Skaneateles and finally Penfield. Sandy loved spending time at the family cottage on Sodus Bay, and was always working in her gardens. Sandy loved when the flowers bloomed, listening to the sound of her windchimes, and any sweet treat. Calling Hours Thursday 3-5PM at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home (Egypt Location) 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Road, Fairport. A private grave-side service will be held at a later date.

Such fond memories of Sandy and Bill with the Scheerens family in Newark, and at the cottage on Sodus Bay. She was such fun, with a quick wit and always an interesting opinion. It was pleasure to know her. To Douglas and Linda, I know she was a gift, and I’m sure as well, to her Grandchildren. Thinking of you all at this most difficult time.
