She is survived by her four children Tom (Claudia) Ciresi, Patti (Joe) Bellizia, Ann (Bruce) Jones & Carol (Keith) Byassee. Grandchildren Justin Lucci, Eric (Carolyn) Ciresi, Alaina Grasta, Abby Grasta, Paige Byassee & Trevor Byassee and Great Grandson, Colton Ciresi. She was married to Salvatore Russell Ciresi, the love of her life, for 65years, until his passing ON February 7, 2017. She is also survived by her younger brother Anthony LaRosa and numerous other family members. She is predeceased by her father and mother, Frank and Mary LaRosa and younger brother, Vincent LaRosa.
Lucy was a student at Rochester Institute of Technology, graduating in 1952. She majored in Fashion Retail & Merchandising and worked for Sibley’s when department stores were THE place to shop. After raising her children, she later worked for Central Trust Bank and Eastman Kodak. She was a former volunteer for the Monroe County Board of Elections. She always gave 110 percent of everything she did.
After losing our dad, Lucy was fortunate to have her longtime childhood best friend, Connie Profetta. When she passed, not long ago, it left another major void. Nothing made Lucy happier than to be hosting and keeping company with family and friends. They were everything to her and she always put everyone first, no matter what. She also loved music, cooking, loved to travel and was a big history buff. A celebration of her life will be on Saturday, May 1st at 11:00am CHURCH OF THE ASSUMPTION 20 East Ave. Fairport NY 14450. The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to The National Kidney Foundation. We all love and miss you!

I only knew Lucy until recently and I’m so thankful that we had time to get to know one another. She was one in a million. I’m sure she’s up in heaven loving that she is with Sam and her Connie. I will always remember Lucy for her love of lipstick, chocolate and Hallmark movies. She is missed by all who knew and loved her. Rest in Peace, my friend,
Aunt Lucy’s name means light and she was the light of so many beautiful extended family memories. She was an incredible example of family love and hospitality. We will always love her to heaven and back.❤️
Aunt Lucy never forgot a birthday or Christmas. Every year I’d be delighted to receive a card in the mail from her. She would light up with enthusiasm every time I called,, and she enjoyed telling me all about the kids and that was new. I will miss you Aunt Lucy.
My son and I maintained Sam and Lucy’s lawn at Center pointe. We will miss her, but know she will be happy in heaven with Sam and Connie.
Gonna miss you so much Godmother, but I’m so happy
for you. You were so ready to join Uncle Sam and all your loved
ones again. I know my mama is happy to have her lifelong
best friend with her again. Thank you for being my prayer
warrior all my life. I’ve said it a hundred times. Yours was
the very best generation with your dedication to
tradition, family, and friends. You were all such wonderful
role models. So heartbreaking to lose all of you because you…
or those times can’t be replaced. I love you!
Sam and I will miss you but know that you and uncle Sam, mom and dad and aunt Joel are having a gay old time. Playing cards playing bocce and having a couple of cocktails. We love you and know that we think of you And your loved ones are in our prayers
Dear cousins Tom, Patty, Ann, Carol & families,
We were very sorry to hear about Aunt Lucy. I have wonderful memories as a child of our family get-togethers with all you (cousins, aunts & uncles). Your mom was always so kind and had something sweet to say to make everyone feel special. All of our love to you and your families at this time.-K
Lucy lived a long and full life. She fiercely loved her family and made everyone feel like family, especially me. She was my neighborhood Mom and always welcomed me as one of her own. So many wonderful memories. Rest well, Lucy. Job well done

Dear, Tommy, Patti, Annie, Carol, and Family, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of my Aunt (cousin) Lucy. She was the sweetest, most caring lady. She was always so sweet and kind to me…………always. Such a beautiful soul. I just viewed the virtual mass and the words that were said by Abbey were so beautiful. She shall never be forgotten in my memories. I hope that all of you can find comfort in all the moments you have shared together and know that she is at peace. I am thinking of all of you and my prayers are with you. May God Bless.
