Isaac, Thomas H.
Pittsford Licensed Boat Captain and Electrician, Inventor and Business Owner.

He passed peacefully with the love of his family and friends. Predeceased by parents George and Phyllis and wife of 40 years, Dolores in 2004. He is survived by his daughter Darlene and son Dale. A favorite quote he enjoyed: “A Rolls-Royce does not break down they fail to proceed.”

Tom is also survived by his siblings Edward (Jean), James, William (Patricia), Jane (Thomas) Reetz, Nancy Cassarino, Linda (Edward) Berardi, Elaine (David) Chandler and sister-in-law Jo Ann (Kirk) Lathrop, cousins the Glaza family, the Quataert family, the Silver family, the Snell family, the Bills family, many nieces and nephews and friends.

Tom was a creative entrepreneur and created several businesses of his own over the years to include T.D. Instruments, Inc. and Thomas H. Isaac Liquidator, Inc. He also worked at Isaac Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. with his family.Tom was a part of police benevolent associations and contributed his clam cooking (and eating) skills to the Irondequoit Police Department’s yearly clam bake. Tom was an avid fishermen; participating in the annual “drown your worm” trout derby on Seneca lake, many fishing derbies on Lake Ontario. He was a member of a few fishing organizations.

Tom could fix anything and he always had some tools with him wherever he went just in case. He would say: “it is better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it!” a value that was reflected in all the stuff he had at his house which he called “fine quality merchandise”.He loved to cook, especially  perogies with sausages, SPAM sandwiches, Sunday brunch, and of course the best popcorn in the world!

Tom liked to play Let It Ride at the Casinos and he took many trips to Las Vegas “to visit his money”. Tom always had a story to tell and told it to to you like you had never heard the story before. While his story has concluded, the love he shared and the way he touched our lives will live on with each and every one of us. Until we meet again.

Calling Hours will be Thursday 6-8PM at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home ( EGYPT LOCATION) 7501 Pittsford palmyra Road.  Funeral Mass Friday 1:30 at St. John of Rochester Church, Fairport.

Darlene and Dale no one called to say your wonderful dad had passed away. He was like a brother to Jim and we loved when he came to visit us and our two grandchildren. We will miss him terribly. All our Prayers and Love go out to you both. Your father loved the two of you very much. You both were his whole life. So incredibly sorry we were all not at the funeral.
    Love Always,
    Rosalie & James Jansen
