Died suddenly 8/7/21 at the age of 46.
Survived by his wife, Anna Clemens Appis, his mother Debra (John) Ventura, father Michael (Linda) Appis, daughter Ella and son Dylan, brother Eric (Tanya) Appis, step-sister Laura Davidow, step-brothers John (Carol) Ventura and Frank (Alana) Ventura, step-children Colton, Justin and Grace, bestman/cousin Jess Dunlap, several relatives and many great friends.
Daniel Robert Appis, my Danny, gone too soon. A lover of music, cooking, traveling and movies. Danny was forever a goofball. His quick wit and sarcastic humor were just some of the many reasons he was loved. Danny was a natural athlete and he had an amazing mind. Always willing to help anyone in need. Danny suffered most of his life with mental disease and addiction. He fought valiantly and ultimately lost his battle, but that is not what defined him. Danny was a son, a father, brother, cousin, and a husband. This is how he will be remembered.
My love, Words cannot do justice to the joy you brought to my and our babies Daisy, Bella, and little Dra. You will be forever in my heart. Until we meet again my love.
Calling hours 1:00 – 3:30 on Sunday, August 15 at Keenan Funeral Home, 7501 Pittsford-Palmyra Road, Fairport (Rte 31). Facemasks are required. Danny left us much too soon – – we never got to say goodbye. Danny, fly free now – – find peace in your heavenly home. You are very much loved and truly missed.

My beautiful boy, why did you have to leave us? How will I survive without our daily phone calls? I keep listening to your voicemail message just so I can hear your voice. My bouncing baby boy. My heart is broken without you.
My love.
If I could’ve taken away your pain and made this demon that haunted you go away I’d have given my life.
I keep finding myself.looking for.you, but cant seem to find you..
I will forever be grateful to have known, loved and be loved by you.
There will never be a time I wont miss you.
Rest peacefully my beloved.
I’ll see you on the other side❤❤❤???
Uncle Dan, we have so much in common and never got to share any of these moments together. From our collections of this and that, both of us being a Scorpio, our love for music and art, good vibes, and always putting others before ourselves. Addiction is something so many struggle with and I’m so sorry it took you before you were ready to go. I hope you are at peace and you are ALWAYS in my heart ♥️ RIP Angel ?
