Leonard E. Walkowicz, 91 of Fairport N.Y. Len was born August 2, 1930 and left his earthly family on November 29, 2021 surrounded by love.
He is predeceased by his parents, Frank and Hattie and brothers, Edwin, Jerome and Arthur.
He is survived by his wife Marilyn of 45 years, children Lori (Rob) Lewis, Dale (Denise) Walkowicz & Donna (Brian) Mosholder. Step- Children Tim Arielli, Amy (John) Burton, and Jeffrey Arielly.
He was also the proud Papa to 12 Grandchildren, Ashley, Emily, Drew, Ethan, Taggart, Cody, Garrett, Johnny, Jake, Josh, Julia & Luke. As well as 5 Great grandchildren.
He served in the Army and was stationed in Germany during the Korean War.
Leonard retired from Eastman Kodak in 1986 after 38 years of service. He enjoyed many leisure years traveling, playing with trains, reading and spending time with friends and family.
Leonard was an extremely good dancer and loved a good time, oh the polka! He could cook with the best of them and was very artistic. Leonard enjoyed playing cards with friends and family.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge for 50 years. He was active for several years lifting his great voice with the Shriners Chanters.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Strong Memorial Hospital cardiac and palliative care units, Dr. Vaughan, Dr. Rao and Dr. Horowitz
Calling Hours will be held Saturday December 4, 2021 11AM-1PM at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home (Village Location) 41 South Main Street, Fairport.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or to the charity of your choice in memory of Leonard’s name.

Pat and I are so sorry to read this. “Walker” was a good friend to our Uncle John and dad Dave. He kept Uncle John active and involved. We always appreciated his loyalty and friendship. He was a good man. May he rest in peace, and may the family be comforted by good memories.
I’m a nephew of John Hartung , Son of John’s one and only sister Jean Hartung Burley. Use to see Walker from time to time when visiting John.Happy guy ,friendly! How I miss uncle John and him talking about his friends and Wegmans.I was trying to think how John came together with Walker and I think there were neighbor friend on Roycroft Drive .If my memory service me right from the storirs mom told.
Sorry for your loss .Hope you have many happy memories of him as I of all those characters to bridge us to the next life when we meet again. God Bless
Dear Marilyn and Family…we were so sorry to hear of Lenny’s passing. He was such a fun loving person and a joy to be with. We will always remember the fun times and laughs we had together. He will be missed. Our heartfelt sympathy to you Marilyn and your family.

Dear Marilyn and Family, We were so sad to hear today of the passing of Uncle Lenny. The youngest of the Walkowicz brothers four is now at rest.
Jerome too loved the polka and was a wonderful dancer.Our own children dance the polka like crazy and love to sing. Such a great family gift. Lenny lived a good long life. How wonderful he has so many children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to carry forth his spirit. We send all our sympathy and love. Ralph and Mari
