December 2, 2021, George at the age of 91 passed away peacefully at home with his daughter by his side.

George is predeceased by his loving wife JoAnn, who would have celebrated their 73rd wedding anniversary on December 3, 2021. They celebrated it now together. Also predeceased by his son Jack and daughter Nancy, parents Ida and Author Butt, step father Len Lawrence, grandson-in-law Jason Starzyk.

He is survived by his daughter Janice (Rick) Kress, granddaughters Kimberly Starzyk and Amber Butt. Great grandchildren Tyler and Lucy Starzyk, son-in-law Paul Beachamp. Sister Beverly (Robert) Harris, Nephew Wayne and family, Niece Sandra and family. Many dear devoted friends.

He was born in Niagara Falls, Canada. He Started his photography business in his mothers living room, where from there it grew into a very successful business.

In 1967 he moved his family to Pittsford, NY when he took on a position with Kodak. This gave him a life time opportunity to travel the world doing what he loved best, taking pictures.

He always was a great lover of the outdoors, golfing, camping, canoeing, working in his yard and going for long walks anywhere where he could find it to be an adventure.

I sometimes feel that I’m so alone but one day all the pain will cease when God restores the missing piece.

Calling Hours will be held on Wednesday December 15, 4-6PM at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home (Egypt Location) 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Road, Fairport. He was interred at White Haven with his wife.
