I was surprised to learn of Chris’ passing as I just spoke to her on the phone a couple of weeks ago. She and my Mother were lifelong friends.

My husband, Douglas Morgenfeld, who was director of Parks for the town of Pittsford and also worked with the Pittsford garden club passed away in 2002. Chris and Bob were both very good friends of Doug, especially Chris and they talked often when he was ill. I appreciate all the friendship she gave to him during his illness and even to me after he passed away. He really enjoyed doing slide presentations for the garden club and giving them tours of the different parks in pittsford. I talked to your mother a few times after Doug passed away and she made me feel very very good. She was a kind and loving person and I’m sure she will be missed by your whole family and friends. I know I appreciated her kindness and her friendship with Doug.and she meant a lot to him also.

Jana and Alan, So sorry to learn this news. Chris was a great neighbor and friend. I was sentimental a few days ago, thinking of ole friends. When Chris came to mind, I was wondering if she was still living in her big house. We had a lot of long chats about this & that. My condolences to you all.
    God Bless everyone! Nancy
