I too did not know that Bill was sick until a recent phone conversation with our mutual good friend Dick Marshuetz. We surely will miss Bill! People mentioned his sense of humor, and he had that in spades. We used to sail together on the Maine coast. One day Bill was at the helm and he heaved the sailboat over so far we all thought that we had “bought the farm”. Of course it was just Bill having a little fun at our expense. On November 6 I’ll tell another short story involving Bill’s wonderful sense of humor. Bill was filled with terrific ideas, and we will miss those! Condolences to Bill’s whole family. Bill’s was a life well lived.
