Julie Principe, age 54, suddenly and unexpectedly entered into eternal peace on October 6, 2022. She is now celebrating a reunion with her Mother Marlene (Schiavone) Petty, who also was taken too soon from her loved ones.
Born in Schenectady, NY on August 10, 1968, Julie was the daughter of William Michael and Marlene Petty. She has a son that she adored more than anything in this world, Michael Principe.
Julie’s passions were talking to her best friend and sister, Michelle Petty-Siena on the phone as much as possible, taking care of her dog divot, and cooking for anyone and everyone. She was an amazing cook as was evident at the many cookouts that she had with friends, neighbors and relatives. She made everything with love. Julie loved to garden and cook with her fresh ingredients. She truly had a green thumb when it came to growing vegetables.
Julie is survived by her son Michael, her father William Michael Petty, her three sisters, Michelle Petty Siena, Nicole (Dana) Hartwell, Amanda (Barry) Furlano, and Michael’s father Andrew Principe.

Dear Michael, I am so very sorry for the loss of your dear mother. I still remember when she was pregnant for you (and I was pregnant with your cousin, Emily). My heart goes out to you and the Petty family. Love, Paula Principe
I knew Julie through our work at Casa Larga Vineyards. Julie was a charming woman who was kind with her words and always presented with a friendly smile. My sincere condolences to Julie’s son and family. She was much too young to leave this earth. Rest in Peace, Julie.
Michael- So shocked and saddened to hear of your moms passing. She was always so kind and thoughtful with the woman’s association at Mendon. Keeping you and your family in my prayers.

Julie was not only a wonderful person but a good friend to me. We worked multiple Invitationals when she was at Mendon Golf Club. Whenever we talked, her son Michael always came up.
Michael, she loved you so very very much. My condolences.
You were one of a kind. Your laugh was infectious. It made others laugh and feel happy. You were taken way too soon from us. Michelle and I planned that you would be at our wedding and stand by Michelle and we loved you for you. I will miss you and we will make sure you are with us in spirit when we do get married. Rest In Peace Julie. We love you forever.
We are so sorry Michael & all of Julie’s family for this sudden loss.
