Tuttle, David Butterfield

Dave was born in Montclair, NJ and spent several years as a child living in Brazil and Mexico where his father was an electrical engineer working for ITT. He always had wonderful memories of his childhood. He spoke Portuguese and Spanish and later in life taught himself to speak Italian, French and a little Indonesian. Dave was an avid reader, and lived in Pittsford, NY for 42 years.

Dave was six-year veteran of US Navy’s nuclear submarine service. He graduated from Marietta College in Ohio was a BS degree in Mathematics and did graduate work at Ohio State University.

Dave retired from Personal Computers Rentals, a computer rental business that he owned and operated from 1986 to 1998. Prior to that he worked at Xerox, Inc. where he met his wife Mary, of 48 years and then Computer Consoles, Inc.

Dave is predeceased by his Parents, Thomas Worrell and Laura Carr Tuttle, Brothers Thomas Tuttle and Allan Tuttle, Brother in law Robert Reimann and nephew Michael Reimann. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Reimann Tuttle, cousins Ted (Dawn) Tuttle and Jim (Nora) Tuttle. Brother-in-law Richard Reimann, Sisters-in-law Sandra Steadman and Irma (Richard) Hastings. Nieces Katherine (Greg) Wolcott, Lynne (Robert) Lewis, Cindy (Robert) Kizer, Terri (Kevin) Wold, Debra (Paul) Diederich, Wendy Reimann, Jill Reimann. Nephews David (Rochelle) Hastings, Kris (Lucia) Reimann, Craig Reimann, Brett Reimann, Todd Steadman, Tim (Brenda) Steadman, John (MaryBeth) Steadman. Many nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will held at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home (Egypt Location) 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Road, Fairport on Sunday October 23, 2022 at 10AM.
