Glenda was a wonderful neighbor and I enjoyed our “porch time” watching the world go by. She was funny and we laughed so much. She was always heading out somewhere with her girlfriends and I am truly sorry for their loss. Her Irish eyes always had a smile and a touch of mischief. She will be missed.

What can I say to comfort the wonderful family of my friend Glenda. Glenda loved her family and those grandchildren, she was so happy around them, she talked about them every time I saw her. We became fast friends at Bausch & Lomb Ray Ban division. We spent many years laughing and venting and many a lunchtime was spent at Mamasan’s which she loved. For years after we left B&L we continued to meet there. We met with the rest if the girls from work 2 or 3 times a year and always at Christmas where we would exchange little gifts one of which was “Glenda’s” chex mix. She shared her recipe I continue to make it every year for my family and I always think of her. I had the wonderful opportunity to accompany Glenda, Linda and Tookie on a trip to Ireland we had an awesome time and shared so many unforgettable moments laughing and taking it all in. She was proud to have her Irish heritage. I had lots of pictures from that trip,, but one was of her sitting very regal in a throne type chair where I dubbed her Queen Glenda. For years we would tease her she would laugh.. Her smile was unending. While our home lives were far apart in distance we always found time to meet, like when she would drop off Kristina at camp or I would visit at Keuka or even just meeting for dinner. Glenda was a great friend we saw each other through good times and bad. Lord knows Glenda had some bad. I will miss my dear friend but I know in my heart Glenda is in a better place, smiling down at us all. Till we meet again my friend rest in peace!

I, too, worked with Glenda at B&L. She was and is, unforgettable. Glenda can easily by 3 words: Fun, Funny and Always Smiling!! She never lost her sense of humor, even when she was very ill many years ago. Life was definitely great with her in it. My heartfelt condolences to Glenda’s family and her large circle of friends.
