Robert Henry Lasher Jr., 92 years of age passed away peacefully March 15, 2023. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 68 years, Myrtle Ann Lasher. He is survived by his Daughter, Debe (Bob) Koch, Son, Robert (Kimberly) Lasher III, Grandchildren, Cody (Lizzy) Koch, Michael Lasher and Brandon Lasher. Great Granddaughter, Mackenzie Koch.
Robert was born and grew up in Lee, Massachusetts. After graduating high school, he went on to serve his country in the US Army. He met his sweetheart, Myrtle while in the Army and moved to Star Lake, NY to be with and marry her where they started to raise their family. He later moved his family to Rochester, NY and worked for Bausch & Lomb until retiring in 1994. In his retirement, he and Myrtle enjoyed traveling in their motor home. They traveled the country for 13 years and shared many adventures and met many new friends, before settling back home in Rochester, NY. Robert loved his Boston Red Sox and you could always find him watching his favorite game of baseball. He also took great joy in watching his grandchildren experience life and was always at one of their sporting events cheering them on.
Robert is at peace now and once again with his sweetheart, Myrtle. Robert, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. A true blessing to all that knew him. Robert will be laid to rest at White Haven Memorial Park, no services at this time.
