Kevin W. Pool
October 16, 1989 – June 5, 2023
Survived by parents William M. and Nancy B. Pool of Fairport, NY. Also survived by brothers, James (Michelle) and Michael, niece Ryan, nephews Jake, Devin, Dylan and Braeden, and his fur baby, Baya. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, Godparents, friends and coworkers.
He was a kind, caring and compassionate person. One of his childhood friends said that Kevin had a beautiful heart and thoughtfulness was one of his most memorable traits. So many of the people who visited him in the hospital said similar things about Kevin. He had many friends and was a good friend in return. Kevin touched many people and will be remembered as a good guy. He loved golf, hockey, paintball, “Jeopardy”, rescue dogs and the Dave Mathews Band. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
We want to acknowledge the care givers associated with the ICU and Palliative Care Team at Highland Hospital for the outstanding care provided for Kevin while he was there. The level of care, compassion and humanity displayed throughout his stay was tremendous and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The individuals deserving recognition are far too many to list here, but we want you to know how much you are appreciated.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a date and location to be determined. Please consider a donation in his memory to Puppy Mill Rescue Team, 6558 4th Section Road #105, Brockport, NY 14420

Kevin taught archery at Camp Arrowhead to both of my boys Nick and Kailer. May you have peace and comfort during this difficult time. Rest in peace Kevin.

We were heartbroken to hear this news. Thinking of you both at this sad time and wishing you peace.
Nancy and Bill, Words cannot express how very sorry I am for your loss. Kevin played paintball with my son and I had the pleasure to get to know him a little during that time. He was such a thoughtful, respectful young man and I’m just so sad to know that he isn’t here with us anymore. Wishing you and your family peace and joy in the memories you have of him.
So sorry to hear the news of a former classmate. Prayers for the family, friends and his loved ones.
Truly saddened for you and your family may you find comfort in the wonderful memories of Kevin..hug one another for strength to get through this difficult time. He will never be forgotten, he left many special times with everyone ❤️?

Bill and Nancy… This note comes with my deepest regrets about Kevin. My heart is heavy for you.
Thanks Judy, nothing in the parents handbook prepares you for this. I’m thankful that Nancy and I are back together to deal with this. We can lean on each other and cry together. Kevin is at peace.
I hope you are well.
Best,
Bill
I knew Kevin for a very short period before his passing working at Big Oak together. He was quick to help and make himself a friend as I started. You could always count on Kevin to send you a random text of a pair of shoes or a new putter he just got. He was an awesome guy to meet for the short time we crossed paths. Sending prayers to the Pool family.
