Campbell, Donald Oliver

On June 13th Donald Oliver Campbell “Doc” of Fairport, New York, passed away peacefully at the age of 86. Donald is predeceased by his parents; William and Grace Campbell; sister- Adeline; brothers- Bain, Clark and William. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Carol; three sons- Russell, Scott (Lori) and Bruce; six grandchildren- Thalia (Karly), Jennifer (Nick), Linsey, James (Emily), Katherine (Joe) and Grace; three great grandchildren- Jaina, Riley and Lucia; brother Bowen and sister Norma. 

Donald proudly served his country for five years as a dedicated member of the United States Marine Corps. He retired from Xerox Corporation after 20 years of loyal service.  

His family and friends will treasure the good times, great laughs and endless love he showed us all. We will miss him immensely but will never forget the positive impact he had on all of our lives.

Donald will be laid to rest in a private ceremony on Monday, June 26th at White Haven Memorial Park in Pittsford New York.

    rMr campbell was such a great role model for me on Brooktree dr. I am so sorry for the family,s loss.A great man. rip sir.

    Uncle Doc. What a great guy who loved all us nephews and nieces. A good father to his boys. I will remember him as someone who always had a kind word and a wonderful laugh. More of a laugh/chuckle. And a smile whenever I saw him. Newfound Lake and Bridgewater cottage good times with him. He will be missed. Much love to you Aunt Carol.
