Kathleen M. Zink.  Fairport: July 13, 2023, age 93. Survived by children, Dolly Blowers (David), Maryann Olmsted (Stephen), Edward Zink, John Zink (Kathleen), Karen Loos; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and one little bundle on the way; brother Jack M. Scharr of Canandaigua. Predeceased by husband, Raymond W. Zink; son, William R. Zink (Angela); daughter, Sharon M. Hill and 5 brothers and sisters.

Kathleen, a homemaker and mother of seven children was an avid reader and enjoyed a variety of fiction novels. Her hobbies included working on puzzles of any kind, knitting and crocheting.  She donated many hand crocheted blankets through the years to nursing homes in the Rochester area. As a young girl, Kathleen was a Mariner Scout and her passion for swimming and sailing on the water spanned over 50 years. She sailed on Canandaigua Lake last summer at the age of 92. Most notably was her love for her family which she enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren at the families cottage on Honeoye Lake. 

Friends are welcome to call Monday, July 24th 4-6 PM at the RICHARD H. KEENAN FUNERAL HOME, 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Rd., Fairport (Egypt Location). Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, July 25 at 10 AM at St. John of Rochester, 8 Wickford Way, Fairport. Kathleen’s Mass will be live streamed by St. John of Rochester Church at this LINK. The link will be active at 9:45 am Eastern Time, 15 minutes before the Mass begins. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Those wishing may contribute to the American Diabetes Association.
