Thomas I. Jackson, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2023 at the age of 59. He leaves behind his loving wife Diane (Calcagno) Jackson; his two children, Peter (Peyton) Jackson, Emily (Nathaniel Brown) Jackson, Step Daughter Brittney (Peter) Dohr, and two beautiful grandchildren: Natalie Jackson and Asher Dohr; siblings, Kathie (Dale) Fish, Dr. Dewey Jackson Jr., William (Sharri) Jackson, nieces and nephews. Tom is predeceased by his parents Dewey T. and Charlotte R. Jackson.
Tom had many accolades in his life to be proud of, he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester and worked most of his career at Xerox. One of his proudest achievements was to be an Eagle Scout. Tom loved the outdoors, traveling, skiing, golfing and spending time with his family.
Toms Memorial Service will be held Friday January 5th, 3 pm at White Haven Memorial Parks All Seasons Chapel.

I am so deeply sorry to hear of Tom’s passing. He has been silently in my prayers for years. I sent so much sympathy to his family and loving courageous wife Diane.

I knew Tom back in his high school days and several years after graduation. He was such a kind man and had so many wonderful laughs with him and my brother. I will always remember his smile. So sorry for your loss:(
Dear Peter and Emily-we are so sorry to learn of the passing of Tom. What an excellent neighbor, a brilliant engineer, a stellar dad and a deep down good person. Also-Tom knew how to have fun! We are grateful to have spent time with Tom, shared meals, and many fun activities. May you remember all of the many ways we were blessed to have shared this life with him.

What a lovely fun-loving guy. The world just lost a great man. So very thankful that he had such a dedicated and caring wife to take such wonderful care of him during his illness. Our deepest sympathies to all of you during this very sad time.

He was a stellar student, creative thinker and one heck of a good guy in all the shop class activities he did in school. I knew Tom from Xerox and he was well liked by everyone. Just a pleasure to be around. He will be missed but never forgotten. Too his family my deepest condolences.
A friend gone too soon is a tragedy. What would have been worse though, is to have never met TJ at all. I am so grateful to have been Tom’s friend in life and will continue to be his friend in death. Godspeed TJ until we hop that next chairlift together.

Very sad news about Tom. We were neighbors (1971-1991) to the Jackson family where Tom was raised. My son was best friends with Tom throughout elementary, middle, and high school. We were part of his early life. Best remember were canoeing in the Adirondacks, fishing lakes in southern Ontario, and best of all, a cross-country road trip to the Philmont Scout ranch in New Mexico were he and two fellow scouts spent a few weeks in the wilderness. Even then, Tom had that “quick smile” and was always ready to help. I’m sure he will be missed but he left me and my family with some great memories.
