Sandy Paiko, 75, of Fairport, NY passed away suddenly on January 11, 2024. 

Sandy was born on April 14, 1948 in Binghamton, NY. She met her husband, Stephen Paiko, in Rochester, NY and were married in February 1971.

Sandy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and mentor. After retiring from a long career in HR she dedicated more time to guiding young members as they launched their careers. In her free time she loved to play with her grandchildren and finding new baking recipes, especially around the holidays.   

Sandy was predeceased by her brother Joe Kurinec. She is survived by her sister Marie (Kurinec) Boncinski (Mike), husband of 52 years, Stephen Paiko, son Michael Paiko (Calona), her daughter Jeanne (Paiko) Freitag (Jonathan), sister-in-law Santosh Kurinec, Nephews Jivan Kurinec, Robert Bocinski, Michael Bocinski, and granddaughters Delia Paiko & Lilly Freitag, and Grandson Gavin Paiko as well as many extended family member and friends.

Services will be held at the Keenan Funeral Home (Egypt location) on Saturday, January 20 at 10:00am-12:00pm. A lunch gathering will take place immediately afterwards at the Creekstone Clubhouse (100 Ranney Drive,Fairport, NY 14450 ). In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Rheumatology Research Foundation
