My sincere sympathy to all the family – Mary was a cousin (by marriage) and we always stayed in contact over the past 65+ years – her mind was sharp as a tack!! We had great chats about current events or past experiences; when she and Bob had the wonderful farm stand it was such fun to stop by and get really fresh corn and I would often see Bob at 5 am at the Rochester Public Market as he was unloading corn to market vendors. Her humor was exceptional, her work ethic to be admired and she always saw the glass ‘half full”. She dearly loved her family. I miss her already, I always could rely on her making me laugh.

To the Sweeney family my sincere condolences to all. Mrs. Sweeney was always very sweet to me when i visited daughter Joan. Riding snow mobiles and sleep overs were the best. Wonderful warm memories with the entire family. I am so sorry for your loss.

Mary Ella Bennett grew up a few doors from me in North Bloomfield, NY. SHe married Bob Sweeney and moved to Pittsford to be a farmer’s wife.
I was always happy to see Mary Ella along life’s way. We loved talking about our growing up years.
My sympathy to all her family.
