Meredith J. Sorensen died Friday, August 23, 2024 at the age of 84.
She was predeceased by her parents, Kenneth and Mary Sorensen and survived by her sister, Carol Graboski, nephew, Timothy Graboski and niece Dawn Gezelman, her “kids”, and many friends.
Celebration of her life will be held Saturday August 31, 2024 at Immanuel Baptist Church, 815 Park Avenue, Rochester New York 14607 at 11:00 AM.
Meredith had a heart of gold. She always wanted to help other people. She had high standards and was set in her ways but she was a caring and compassionate person especially to those she felt had been dealt a tough hand in life.
She was such an awesome teacher. I am sad that I was not able to keep in touch all these years. I am 64 years old. As I remember, there was no other teacher who helped as much as she did. Help a little girl to cope. She was and still in my heart today. Sincerely Jane Marie Rabideau
