Margaret Stuver (Enright)
Passed away peacefully on August 29th surrounded by her family. Margaret was 85 years old. She was predeceased by her brothers, Jack Enright and Terry Enright.
Margaret is survived by her loving husband, Ken Stuver, her children; Mike (Julie) Stuver, Tom (Kim) Stuver, Patty (Bruce) Leet and Mark Stuver (Mary Kay) her adored grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her brothers; Jim (Louise) Enright, Bob (Margie) Enright and Tom (Gail) Enright. Brother in-law, Bob (Bea) Stuver many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
Margaret was born on December 20th, 1938 to Agnes and John Enright. She was the only girl out of six children. Her father passed away when she was four years old. She was raised in a loud, boisterous household with her beloved brothers, Jim, Bob, Jack, Terry, and Tom. Margaret was proud of her family and her extended Ehmann family. She was blessed to have five fabulous sisters-in-law.
Margaret met the love of her life, Ken, in sixth grade. They were high school sweethearts and married at the age of 19. They recently celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary. Ken and Margaret’s marriage was truly inspirational. They were best friends and devoted to each other. They rejoiced in the good times and persevered during the challenging times. Over the past several months, Ken took care of Margaret through her illness and seldom left her side.
He patiently took Margaret shopping every week. She would spend hours shopping, impulsively buying clothes that she didn’t need, were the wrong sizes, and in the end she didn’t like. The following week, he would take her back and she would return everything and start all over
If you asked Margaret what her greatest accomplishment was, she would say her family. She had no regrets in life as she achieved her greatest goal of being a loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. She was a warmhearted and nurturing mother to her four children, Mike, Tom, Patty and Mark. She showed her love through praise and encouragement and instilled in her children the value of compassion, empathy, faith, selflessness, and the ability to laugh at oneself.
When her children were grown, she became a teacher at Childtime. She had a gift with children and worked there for 20 years. After devoting years of her adult life to children, she was eager to vacation in Florida with lifelong friends. Although she cherished her time in Florida, she was always anxious to return home to her grandchildren. Her pride and joy was cheering them on at sporting events, graduations, weddings, and other milestones. She loved each of her grandchildren and great grandchildren in a unique way and all of them held special bonds with her.
Margaret passed away peacefully on August 29th surrounded by her husband and children.
All are invited to attend Margaret’s Funeral Mass on Friday, September 13th at 11:00. Mass will be held at St John of Rochester 8 Wickford Way Fairport NY 14450. Private interment.
Margaret will truly be missed and our memories with her will always be cherished.
