Kristine Ann Hay Zenkel, age 58 of Macedon, NY passed away peacefully surrounded by family the morning of November 20th, 2024. Survived by her father James hay and stepmother Ellie Hay her Spouse Francis DeLooze, Brother Timothy Hay, Children; Ryan (Logan) Zenkel, James (Amanda) Zenkel, Christopher (Gabrielle) Zenkel, and Abby Rose (Dylan) Zenkel, Stepson Ryan DeLooze, Grandchildren; Emmett, Landon and Ellison, Cole, Grayson. Devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Remembered by prioritizing family time and outdoor adventures.

Graduated Pittsford Sutherland High School amongst her closest friends, Kristen Stone and Kelly DeBlase Klaritch. These friends have been dear to her heart for many years. They share fond memories that they will cherish forever.

The family holds many great moments with their mother including; Disney trips every year, cookouts at her house, four wheeling with her life partner Fran, and traveling to Montana to visit her daughter. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and watching them grow through their early years. She often visited with her mother and father at their homes in Florida. Also, was a very loving dog mommy to an Akita, Hachi.

Kristine will be remembered as a faithful, loyal, and hilarious woman. She loved her true crime shows and mowing the lawn with music playing. The grandkids were the light of her life. Her daughter, Abby, called her twice a day everyday to chat and laugh. She loved lunch dates with friends or family for Mexican food. You could pick her laugh out of a crowd; she always lit up the room.

All she would want from everyone she loved is to remember her as the woman she was:  kind-hearted, with a smiling face, relaxing in her beautiful home that she created with her love, Fran. She enjoyed listening to country music and classical rock in the garage on nice days with a wonderful view. She was always fashionable, with the most beautiful hair. She was content with life’s simple pleasures.

And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.

Amen.”

We will spend a lifetime remembering you, Mom.

We love you more.

Dear Zenitel and Hay Family, I met Kristine from being friends with her Dad and remember her treating me like a part of the family and Kristine inviting some of us to a car race and not seeing much of the race because she was so busy making sure everyone else had water and food and whatever else she brought with her- you just knew she was a very special woman. God bless all of you in your remembrance of a great lady.

Sending my sympathy to my good neighbor Jim and Ellie Hay and Kristine family for their loss. My God watch over you all at this time of sorrow. I will remember seeing her cut the lawn and clean up the leaves when her Dad and Ellie went to Florida for the winter. Then in the spring she was back again making sure the house and lawn were ready when they returned. God Bless your family for a beautiful lose.
