It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Elaine R Mockbee on February 9, 2025 at the age of 72. She was born in the Rochester NY suburb of Irondequoit on April 15th,1952. 

She was survived by her late former husband Jeffery Mockbee who preceded her death in 2024, all of her children and children in law Shane & Mary, Stacey & Jesse, Jesse & Alpha, her sister Patricia Rahn and her grandchildren Priya, Emme, Paityn, Logan, Isaac, Aaron, Talitha and Madelyn. 

Elaine enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She had a special place in her heart for animals and always had a pet to care for. She also loved plants, particularly cactus, drawing & painting, walking her dog, and dining with friends and family.  

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February, 19th at 11:00 am at  White Haven Creations Chapel , 210 Marsh Rd, Pittsford, NY 14534.

    I will miss my forever friend since kindergarten. Grew up together and also as adults our children played together. We went through Beatle mania together, Happiness and sadnesses including both of us divorcing. Lost touch after that for awhile and reunited again a few years later. Both became born again Christians within the last decade and have met for lunch every Christmas season and both of our birthdays and more. So sad I missed our last scheduled lunch date but I will see her again as Jesus has promised. Although you died in the flesh you are now living eternally will our Savior and without tears or pain. Save me a seat my loving friend ❤️
