






Edna Louise (Safford) Schuttee
Fairport, NY – Blackwatch Trail. Ms. Edna Schuttee, 87, formerly of Fairport, died on Friday, February 14th, 2025, in Strong Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 31, 1937, in Covington, New York. She was a daughter of Verda and Elden Safford. She was raised in Silver Lake, New York in the Town of Perry. She attended Perry Central High School and was a 3-Degree Graduate of Brockport University.
She worked for Rochester City School District at various locations. Her main focus was the athletic department but also assisted with many administrative duties also. She enjoyed arts and crafts, various adventures with Geocaching, and being a part of different clubs such as Red Hat/Purple Shirt Society and Stamp club. She volunteered much of her time at St. Luke’s Church including the organization of their annual Rummage Sale. She also enjoyed being with her grandchildren and more recently great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by George M. Schuttee (Husband) and Steven T. Schuttee (Son). She was also predeceased by her brother William L. Safford (Sally) and her sister Betty M. Safford (Jim Evans). She was survived by her son, Frank J. Schuttee, her brother Roger E. Safford (Donna), her grandchildren Monica Rosales (Eric), Nathan Schuttee (Katy), Jamie Hutter (Susan), and her great-grandchildren Mya Rosales, Zoey Rosales, Sofia Rosales, Charlie Schuttee, and Alice Schuttee.
The Calling Hours will be at Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home (Egypt Location) 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Road on Thursday, February 20th, 2025, from 4-6pm. The Memorial service will be held at St. Luke’s Church 77 Country Corner Lane in Fairport New York on Friday, February 21st at 11am followed by a procession to White Haven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her honor to St. Luke’s Church.
