Kathy was predeceased by her parents Bill and Elsie Zimmer of Fairport, and her devoted husband of 50 years Jim, who passed away just 6 weeks ago.
Kathy is survived by sons Jim II (Diane) and Andy (Erica), and was Granny to Rachel and Kyle.

Kathy volunteered tirelessly to better her community by being involved in many organizations including Victor Farmington Ambulance, St. John’s Lutheran Church, Kiwanis All-Star Relay for Life (American Cancer Society), Fairport High School Class of 1964 and various other causes and organizations she felt passionate about.
Above all, Kathy was a courageous, strong, positive woman who loved her family. She was a registered nurse who retired from the American Red Cross. Her husband treated her like a queen and together they enjoyed a 50 year love affair that included one adventure after another. Kathy found strength in nature, enjoyed puttering in her garden, listening to the music of the wind in the trees and watching the birds go about their busy days.
Thank you to all who supported Kathy and our family throughout her journey.
