Pittsford: Passed away on Tuesday, October 23rd, 2018, with his loving family by his side. Predeceased by his father, Neil. Survived by his wife of 43 years, Sue Ann, daughters, Katherine (Norman) McGrath Young, Patricia, Emily, grandson, David Vincent, mother, Marie O’Donnell, sisters, Patricia Sanders, Lynn McGrath, and special grand-dog, Snoop.
Vinny will always be deeply loved by his family, and his family was the center of his world. He fought his disease bravely so that he could have as much time with them as possible.
He was born in Brooklyn in 1953, the youngest of three children. His family moved around throughout his childhood, but he met his wife of 43 years, Sue Ann, in Brooklyn when he was 19 yrs old. They started their family in New Jersey where their three daughters were born. His career with Xerox, spanning over forty years, brought them to Pittsford in 1989.
Vinny was a kind man who treated all he encountered with respect. He was able to engage anyone and everyone in a conversation, making even the most serious ones laugh with his quick wit.
Providing for his family was his top priority and enjoying time with them was his favorite pastime. He loved being a father and grandfather. Taking care of and being taken care of by his best friend and wife, Sue Ann, made him so happy. He will be missed dearly.
Calling Hours will be Friday, October 26th from 4-7PM at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home (Egypt location), 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Rd. (Xanax) , Fairport. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday October 27th at 9 AM at St. Louis Church, 64 S. Main St., Pittsford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wilmot Cancer Center.

Sending our sincere condolences. I worked with Vinny at Xerox for several years. Vinny was a well respected member of our team. He handled his illness with the same grace and class that he exhibited every day at work. We all remember him fondly, and are sad to hear of his passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
Knew Vince for many years as Tiger – Xerox service Level 2 support – sorry to hear about his passing. His smile will always be around. RIP Vinny.
My sincere and heart felt sympathies to all of Vinny’s family and friends. We worked together many years ago but I will always remember his great sense of humor and welcoming smile.
