Costanzo, Margaret E. “Peggy”

Margaret E. “Peggy” Costanzo (Vick) passed away on December 19, 2018. Peggy was predeceased by her husband, Thomas A. Costanzo; son, Thomas A. Costanzo, Jr.; and two sisters, Linda Vick and Georgia Weinhart. She is survived by her children, Anthony Costanzo, Michelle Costanzo (Michael Santini) and Tracy (Patrick) Vanatta; six grandchildren, Ashley, Corey (Gabby), Nick, Austin, Ryan and Bria; great-grandchildren, Aubree and Izabela; brothers and sisters, George (Janice) Vick, Patricia (Maynard) Chilson, Gerard (Carol) Vick, Mary Ruth Richardson, Carol Germuga, Catherine Reagan and Barbara Forward; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Peggy was born on July 2, 1947. She was the youngest of ten siblings. As a child, she lived in the Browncroft neighborhood of Rochester, NY where she attended St. John the Evangelist School. She and her family later moved to Penfield, New York, and in 1965, she graduated from Mercy High School. Peggy was married in 1967 and had four children. She spent most of her life as a homemaker, caring for her husband and children. Peggy’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Peggy will be greatly missed every day, but her warm and loving spirit will live on in the memories of her children, grandchildren, and the many lives she touched throughout the years. Peggy will forever be remembered for her strong will, fierce determination, and loving devotion to her family.

Calling hours are Friday 5-8 at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home, Village Location, 41 S. Main St., Fairport. Funeral Mass is Saturday 9:30AM at Peace of Christ Parish at St. John the Evangelist, 544 Humboldt St., Rochester. Interment White Haven Memorial Park.     She was an awesome cousin! I loved her and I will miss her. Though I didn’t see her often the times we saw each other she made me feel like no time had passed. I’m happy she is reunited with Tommy and Tom!
