Macedon: Passed away at his home on Tuesday, December 18th at the age of 83 with his family at his side. Tom was born on February 27th, 1935 to Lloyd and Florence Lincoln in Rochester, NY. He was predeceased by his parents, sister Nancy Whitenight, wife of 43 years Elinor Lincoln, and son Lloyd Lincoln. He is survived by his children: Thomas (Christie) Spangenberg, Sharon (Mark) Brown, Debbie Corrales, Dawn Laws, Dianna Lincoln, and Lisa (Scott) Power; grandchildren: Nina, Roy, Christine (Adam), Thomas, Thomas (Brittany), Sasha, Alfredo, Louis, Michael, and Valerie; many great-grandchildren; brother William Lincoln, and sisters Dianne (Robert) Ryder and Rebecca (Donald) Rhinewald; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Tom was employed for many years with the Fairport School District as a custodian and in maintenance . Tom was a member of the Towpath Fife and Drum Corps of Macedon, an avid hunter and fisherman, a meticulous gardener, an expert Beagle breeder, and a true believer in Santa Claus, playing him throughout his life for friends, family, and neighbors alike.
Tom loved to sing silly songs to kids and inspired laughter in those around him. He was a social butterfly and found great joy in spending time with his family and friends. His warm spirit will be greatly missed, but will continue to live on in the spirits and memories of his loved ones.
Friends may call on Wednesday, December 26th from 3-7 PM. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 27th at 10 AM. Both will be held at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home, 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Road (Egypt location). Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Baird Road in Penfield, NY. A reception will be held following burial at Harris Whalen Park, Penfield Rd in Penfield. Flowers may be donated through Fioravanti Florist, donations in memory of Tom may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
