Fairport – Passed away peacefully on February 11, 2019 at the age of 95. Addie is survived by daughter, Mary Anne (James) Dewhirst; son, David (Judy) Gerstner; grandchildren, Kimberly (Dr, James) Pulvino, Jennifer (Matthew) Harmon and David (Berkeley) Gerstner; 4 great-grandchildren. Born in Rochester, NY on September 8, 1923, Addie graduated from Brighton High School and Geneva LPN School. She was employed at Thompson Hospital, Canandaigua VA Hospital and Monroe Community Hospital where she retired in 1985. Addie was devoted to her family and friends and had a lifelong love for needle art and quilting and visits to family and friends.
No prior calling hours. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John of Rochester, Fairport on Saturday at 10 AM. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff of the Friendly Home and Lifetime Care Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Friendly Home.
