Jean was a beloved, long time volunteer with our G2 program in Fairport. She had such a patient and gentle way with the children, and they loved her so much for it. Jean was such a supportive and positive presence in their lives; having Ms. Jean as your buddy was like hitting the G2 jackpot. As her coordinator for many years, I came to know and love Jean for all these qualities and more. I wish I could tell her again how amazing she was, so instead I will tell you. Her presence and unconditional acceptance was a gift that these children won’t soon forget. You’ll be in our hearts forever.

Dear Parkhurst family, I was so saddened to read in this morning paper that your beloved mother , grandmother, and friend had passed away. Our friendship goes back many many years to when we lived on Wyndham Rd. Michael, you played with my daughter Kim. Your dad and my husband, Paul worked together at Kodak. Your dad was a wonderful man, husband and father. Your mother loved all her children and grandchildren so very much, she would talk about you all the time. Doug, I saw your picture on FB , you look just like your dad! My condolences to all of you, she will be greatly missed. Mary Ann Schwartz
