So sorry to hear of Patrick’s passing. He was a great guy. We will miss his friendliness in the neighborhood.
In my 18 years of playing hockey in the late 70’s through mid 90’s, there are only a few people who consistently came to the rink and made you feel better with their presence, their smile, and their deep care for the other soul they were interacting with. Pat was one of those people and it is just the way I’ve always remembered him since, though through time, we had lost contact. A great defenseman to have in front of you, a great man with a wonderful smile, and a great chimney sweep, I am truly saddened to hear of his passing.
Prayers are being sent to all the Ingram’s during this time of loss, and for the soul of one great man.
We are so saddened to learn of Patrick’s passing. A true gentleman. We will miss his friendly smile and wave!
Working with Pat at Hoselton as a shuttle driver was one of the best experiences of my life. What a great coworker and friend. Will be greatly missed.
What a sad loss. My condolences to all of Pat’s family. I worked with him many years ago at ABVI and have fond memories of his kindness to all.
Our hearts thoughts and prayers are with the entire Ingram family. Uncle Pat was such a bright light. Every time we saw him he filled the room with sunshine. Heaven just got a Warrior Angel! We love you all very much!

Pat was an amazing person. He loved his children and family, loved Fairport and his work. He learned of his illness and attempted to live life to its fullest. Great guy who will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
To the Ingram family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I grew up with Pat in the 19th ward . I hadn’t seen him in years but we always had a good time together, especially playing hockey at 4am on the old outdoor rink at Genesee Valley Park. One of the nicest guys I have known. RIP.
Pat my friend, I will miss you and remember you forever, we spent countless times together, working at Wegmans, eating Louise’s great cooking on Perinton St., playing softball, playing hockey, college summer jobs installing pools, riding motorcycles together, then eventually watching our kids play soccer against each other, all memories I’ll cherish forever. I’m sorry i wasn’t there for you lately, You will always be my “best man”.
My sincere prayers for all the Ingram family(s) in this tough time for all the upcoming days,
May God Bless you and your family(s),
Shawn O’Hara
Pat was such a great guy. I really enjoyed working the shuttle with him at Hosleton. Going to miss him. Rest in peace my friend.
Sorry for your loss!
Uncle Pat-
I am literally heartbroken of your passing. Growing up, only 10yrs apart, you were more like my brother, than my Uncle. I will cherish my memories of you forever, but will miss so many things about you…. I will miss our, “just checking in” phone calls, our lunch dates (even watching you inhale your food), your smile, your giggle, but most of all, when you’d see me & say, “WEISS!”. No one can ever replace that. You truly made each of us feel special & we really felt, we were each “your favorite”. Another person taken away from our family too soon. Our “family chain is broken”, but will link again someday. Until then, say “Hi” to everyone for us. God’s loving arms are wrapped around you now & you have no more pain. The cancer is all gone. No more worries, you can finally just rest & relax. Heaven has gained an amazing Angel, but we have lost an even better person. I love you so much.
❤ “Weiss”(Hilary Ingram)
One of the best things about being married to Hilary is being able to call you my “Uncle Pat”. You were more like a brother to me as well and an awesome Godfather to our son. I will miss our card games, family parties, our visits and your funny little giggle. A true friend of mine was taken way too early and will be truly missed. You are going to make upstairs much brighter…Weissman
I will never see the “INGRAM’S CHIMNEY” van again, without thinking of you. Miss you already!
Aunt Susan- you are one of the strongest women I have ever known. I don’t know how you got through all of this. I know from your strong faith….. & hopefully that & our family’s love & support will help you, James & Megan get through the sad/tough days ahead. I love you all.
❤ Hil

Wow. What a shock! I still can’t believe it. I am truly saddened by this news. Pat was, and I’ll always remember as such, a terrific individual, pleasant to a fault. Constantly working on the yard, setting up the pool, a pleasing and pleasant smile and never missing an opportunity to say hello. I wasn’t his neighbor, he lived next door to my daughter’s family, but he always made me feel part of the neighborhood. Helpful in anyway he could. Cherish the moments we conversed. Susan, James, Meghan sending my warmest regards and sympathy.
I was saddened to learn of the passing of Patrick. My thoughts and prayers to the family at this very difficult time.
Very sad. Pat helped coach my daughter’s basketball team and I would see him periodically at homes where he was working on the chimney/fireplace. Always warm and welcoming. Always encouraging and lifting others up. He set an incredible example. Our condolences and prayers go out to Pat’s family.
Pat and I went to school 16 together in the 19th ward. The impression he made on me through his kindness and friendship has stayed with me all these years. He will always be in the hearts of his family and friends.
Pat,
You were one of a kind! We shared so many great times together, and you were a good friend. So sorry that you have been taken from us so soon. I hope you are at peace, and smiling down at your family and friends.I will never forget you my friend. you will always be in my heart and thoughts.
Love you my friend,
Dar
Patrick was my suite-mate in the room across from me during my junior year at SUNY Geneseo. Must’ve been ’79/’80. I remember him as a very athletic guy, always upbeat and very easy going and friendly. Always with a smile on his face. So sorry to hear of your loss. Seems like just yesterday we were in college. My thoughts and prayers go out to all his family. Life is too damn short.
Pat, you were such a great guy we had so much fun back in the days working at Wegmans. I am so sad that you have left us so soon with so much to live for.. will miss that great smile and all those great curls. RIP PATRICK….. FLY HIGH WITH THE ANGELS ❤
So very sorry to lose such a wonderful man way too soon. Pat, and Sue, were some of the first new friends that we got to know when we arrived into Fairport nearly 30 years ago. So grateful for having had the opportunity to have known Pat and his infectious great attitude and constant smile.
Rest in peace my friend, haven’t seen you since HS but will always have good memories of playing together in Little League and Pony league.
So sorry for the family. Our prayers are with you, God bless Pat!
I will miss the good times we had at the summer workshop, but especially your smile! RIP Love, Bob and Sherry
I was so sorry to hear this news. Pat and I kind of “grew up” together in the chimney business. I always knew if someone called me for a 2nd opinion following Pat’s initial inspection that I would find exactly what he found. An honest and friendly competitor. He is missed.
I’m still having trouble believing you are gone….I miss you, Nuttles. You meant so much to me and to so many who were lucky enough to know you. I’ll remember our wine making adventure, helping me understand poker, all the great meals/cocktails shared, and most of all, your warm smile. Hope to see you in Heaven someday. I’ll help watch over your Family…no worries. I love you. -‘your favorite ‘ Sister-in-law ?
