Don was a great guy from the Air Force days at Dover AFB. He was my roommate for a year before I shipped off to Viet Nam in 62. Caught up with him on the way back home when he was in Guam. Last got together with two other AF types at Dover several years ago. Will miss his humor but will remember Don and the gang.

Don, you were special. From the day we first met in the Xerox National Distribution Center in Webster many years ago to the last day we counted church collections together at St. John’s you proved to be a great guy to be with. God bless you on your final journey. God must have a special spot reserved just for you.

I had the privilege to work with Don at the Friendly Home. He was someone I could always count on and he helped me so many times when we needed an extra hand. I am so lucky our paths crossed and just have a great deal of respect for him. I send my sincere sympathy to all of his family and fellow fire fighters and know you will cherish your memories and his life always.
