Stoianovich. Dorothy H.

Dorothy Helen Stoianovich, 79, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away after a valiant battle with cancer on October 26,2020 in Rochester, New York.
Dorothy was predeceased by her parents Walter & Helen Osipovitch, brother and sister-in-law Walter and Barbara Osipovitch, and husband Daniel Stoianovich. She is survived by her family: loving companion Jim Berceli, son and daughter-in-law Mark and Amy Stoianovich, grandchildren Emily Stoianovich and DJ Stoianovich, daughter and
son-in-law Carin and Michael Sattler, grandchildren Drs. Matthew & Lauren Sattler and Hunter Sattler, brother and sister-in-law Tom and Kathy Osipovitch. Dorothy is also survived by many endearing relatives, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
After graduating from Our Lady of Mercy High School, Dorothy married Daniel Stoianovich. Dorothy and Daniel raised two beautiful children in a loving home. After Dan’s
early passing, Dorothy began her career at Monroe #1 BOCES in the Accounts Payable department. She retired after many years of service to enjoy more time with family until her illness made it too difficult to do so.
Dorothy loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed the outdoors, cooking, and traveling, along with a lifelong passion of reading. (https://lakeforestgc.com) Dorothy’s loving, generous and kind nature will be missed by all.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Rochester General Hospital’s Hematology/Oncology Unit. The care and compassion Dorothy received during her final days will always be remembered.
In lieu of traditional calling hours, the family will be holding a celebration of life in the spring of 2021.

Deepest sympathy to Jim, Carin, Mark & grandchildren. I worked with Dorothy at BOCES. Her love for her children & grandchildren knew no bounds. We spent many happy times together i.e. Marks wedding, meeting the infamous Aunt Rose etc. Before Jim, when we would go out together my husband would introduce me as his wife and Dorothy as his girlfriend. So sorry for your loss.

To Jim, Mark, Amy, Carin, Mike and their children, Joe and I want to express our deepest sympathies at the loss of Dorothy. We worked together at BOCES #1 for20 years . We loved talking about our children and grandchildren. After I retired we enjoyed many lunches together, catching up on how our grown grandchildren were doing. She was so proud of her family and loved them so much. Dorothy will be missed.
Prayers for you and your family.
