Cherie L. Cope passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 07, 2020 at the age of 64. She is survived by her Husband, Robert Cope, Sister, Karen Saetta (Robert), and her three cats, Romeo, Sage, and Tiger Lily. Predeceased by Mother, Margot Denenberg, Grandmother, Esther Berger, and Uncle, Robert Berger. Cherie loved her family, friends, cats, nature and the Rochester Farmers Market.Please perform a random act of kindness in celebration of Cherie’s life. Cherie was such a kind soul and willing to help anyone out! I will miss our time together and pray that she is at peace. She so loved her family and always had such kind words when speaking of them including her precious kitties – Romeo, Sage and Tiger Lily. She was always so kind to Peppy – bringing him treats on a regular basis – he will miss her greatly! She will forever be in our hearts!
Bob and Karen- I am so incredibly saddened to learn of Cherie’s passing. She was such a kind and generous woman, always thinking of others. We have been sharing happy memories of Cherie amongst ourselves at the office. She shared her love of animals with my best friend, Bruno, who always received the warmest greeting from Cherie. We all miss her presence greatly and are wishing you peace.
I am secretary at Align chiropractic office and will miss her so much. I have had the pleasure of seeing her every week sometimes two or three.For the last 5 years. She will be missed so much by me and my Bruno. Prayers for you and family. Cherie was a bright light that came in our office and so caring and loving to everyone. No matter how much pain she was in always brought a smile to all of us. So sorry and prayers for you all. She will be missed by so many especially us.

Years ago, I remember Karin telling me how Cherie would walk “miles” in the city; and, exercise and the love of the outdoors brought her joy!

To Cherie’s family and furbabies. We saw Cherie that morning at the Public Market and talked about our favorite subject, our fur babies. Our thoughts and prayers to you during this most difficult time. Judy and Grace.
Cherie was a dear “market friend”, who could always be counted on to lead me to a new vegetable find or a vendor who had an unexpected treasure. I counted on her to check in and see how I was doing, or to share an update on her husband and fur babies. I don’t know how to stop looking for her in the early morning crowd and I will miss her every Saturday. May her memory be for a blessing and may she be sheltered in the loving embrace of angels…
As I sit here with tears rolling down my cheeks having just learned of Cherie’s death. I am shocked and deeply saddened. My heart goes out to you Bob and to her sister Karin. Cherie and I got to know each other over the phone and for the last 5 years conversed weekly, We became great phone pals. Although we never met I understood her capacity for love and kindness. We shared a passion for nature and animals and I know your beloved cats will be lost without her. Cherie always asked about my horse Luna, and showed such an interest in my country of Canada. We would often have a chuckle over the differences between our two homelands. I will end this by the way I ended all our conversations by saying “Bless you”
Cherie visited the library so often! Her presence was always uplifting. We’ll miss her lively conversation about books, movies and so much more. She had a great spirit.
