Vicky M. Aken (Fiandach)
Passed away peacefully Monday June 23, 2025. Born April 3rd, 1945, Vicky was the second youngest of 6 children, born to Joseph and Ann Fiandach of Fairport, NY.
Vicky was predeceased by her husband Edwin C. Aken. The beloved mother of two and is survived by her son, Dan (Kelly) and their five children (Emma, Parker, Ella, Connor and Claire) and her daughter Tori (Jean) and their dogs. Her brothers Joe (Nancy) and Chuck (Christine) and many nieces, nephews and their children, who she loved so much.
Vicky was very out-going and social, and would stop to talk to anybody (whether she knew them or not). She loved spending time with her family and friends, and still regularly met with her classmates from Kindergarten. She never missed a social gathering, often arriving very early and staying late. She was an adopted grandma to many neighborhood kids.
She worked at Xerox as an administrative assistant for 32 years, retiring in 2007. Her hobbies were softball, bowling, and golf and most especially regular visits to the casino.
In lieu of flowers, she would probably want you to visit your local casino and have a good time in her memory.
A memorial service will be held on Monday June 30th, at 1PM at the All Seasons Chapel at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford, NY 14534

She was one in a million. Vicky enjoyed life and her family. I miss my “sister” and life doesn’t seem the same without her.
I LOVE the mention of the Casino ❣️
That made me see her face right B4 my eyes as I read it.
I love her so much
I feel empty, but the mention of the casino made me laugh. We took her on many trips!
She was so proud of her children and her grandkids..Spoke about them and their families every time I was with her. I was fortunate to have been included as her friend.
Will be with me and Billybob the rest of our lives!

I was never lucky enough to have a sister until I married Joe. Vicky’s shining personality could never be ignored by anyone. I loved her so much. Who will I text during the Bills games? What fun we always had!

Oh my god, how could I forget her love for the casino! She was, indeed, a super fun person to be around! Huge heart, and you felt it every time you were with her. I will forever cherish our lunch dates. I wasn’t lucky enough to grow up with her, but she made me feel like I did. Aunt Vicky, I love you. Thank you for being a confidante and a friend during my short stint in ROC. It was a real blessing to be able to call you “Aunt” ❤️
Vicki was such a dear Friend to my wife and myself. She loved going for coffee and talking about the old days. A real North Sider who will be so missed. Until we meet again my friend and always remember when to fold em and when to hold em.

Sorry to hear of your loss.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Oh Miss Vicky – My heart is broken, you weren’t just a best friend, you were family. I was lucky enough to meet you while working at Xerox. I will always treasure the good times that we shared and the many phone calls once I moved. The tears are flowing as I write this, oh how I will miss you my friend.
Vicky will be missed! We have been friends since 1st grade at East Ave. school — a true “life time” of memories has made us all better for them. R I P my friend.
From East Avenue to Minerva DeLand and all the summers in between. A wonderful classmate and a dear friend. Heaven just got another angel.
I went to school with Vicky. In more recent years when I made a trip back to NY I tried to make it to the brunch group from high school. It was always a treat to catch up with Vicky and the others.
Vicky had such a big heart and was always helping people. We were friends since kindergarden. I’m so grateful that we kept in touch all these years. I’ll miss you.
Rest in peace dear friend. Keeping all the special memories we made with our Xerox retiree lunch group and our amazing times at Xerox Square.
I’ll miss you dear friend and will forever cherish those special times. My special prayers and deepest sympathy to Dan, Kelly, the 5 grandkids, Tori & Jean.
Love & Prayers, Nancy Gardone
Just found about Vicki’s passing from an ER classmate. The schools had a football rivalry, but it was amazing that the kids had a lot of fun together outside of school. The summers cruising around between the towns was epic. Vicki was always fun to be around and was always the serious one that kept us out of trouble. She had a heart of gold and a welcome smile. It was always fun to bump into her around town and share memories. Condolences to the family and especially Chuck.
