Frank was born September 27th, 1940 in Rochester, NY. He is survived by his partner of 30 years, Doris Pollak, his children; Janine Cornwell of Farmington and Brian (Joanna) Allenza of Henrietta; grandchildren; Megan and Taylor Allenza.

Frank was predeceased by his parents, Carl and Rose Allenza; sisters, Mary Gould and Ann Barbato, and grandson, Geoffrey Cornwell II.

Frank grew up in Rochester and attended RIT where he received a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Upon completing college, he served in the United States Army as a Sergeant at Fort Riley, Kansas from 1963-1967.

Frank worked for RG&E for 30 years as Director of Economic Research, and finished his career at The Sutherland Group as a market researcher before retiring in 2002.

Frank enjoyed being outdoors. He played golf and was an avid fisherman. He loved spending time on or near the water, and in the summers, could usually be found at his small cottage on Lake Ontario along with many dear friends and family. After retiring, he spent his time traveling and dining out with Doris and spending time with his family.

No services are planned. In lue of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Friendly Home

    I am very sorry for your loss. Frank and I worked together at RG&E in the Rate Department for many years. We were best of friends and enjoyed our friendship. I will miss him. Peace.

    I’m very sorry about the news of Frank’s passing. Frank and I worked together in the Rate Dept. I had many mentors there, and Frank was one of them. Frank was a good man, I’ll never forget the times we had together in the 80’s. Rest in Peace, Frank.
