Ruth L. Armbruster, 87, a 56 year resident of Penfield NY, passed away 11/11/2022. Surviving are her husband John of 66 years, and 2 children, Robert, & Debra. Both Ruth and John were born, raised, and married in Allentown PA. Ruth was an alumna of Kutztown University in PA. Ruth spent most of her time raising a family but frequently donated her time to a number of charitable organizations. She also enjoyed playing the piano, and for many years she was also a member of her church choir.
Per her wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. A private family burial will be held at a later date.

I am sincerely sorry for your loss. I am glad and feel lucky that I got to know Ruth. She was always so cheerful with a wonderful smile. She was an asset in the Friends of the Penfield Public Library. May your happy memories of Ruth be a help to you always. This is a difficult time for you, my thoughts and prayers are with you.
