Lynda’s professional and personal accomplishments both as an individual and with her husband John – was experienced by those in their circle of family, friends and colleagues. They bestowed their generous gifts to the many organizations and individual in the community They touched lives. They raised their wonderful children in the same mold and each is also very accomplished and carries the compassion, energy and generosity their parents and particularly their mother Lynda instilled in them.

Linda was a pillar of Mt. Rise church back in the day, both a spark plug and a workhorse. I’m sure she was the same for countless other organizations. My condolences to John and her whole family.

Lynda was such a bright light! She was among the most generous, thoughtful, smart and gracious women I have ever had the pleasure to know. More than a friend, Lynda was like a second mother to me. My heart aches with the news of her passing. Thinking of the entire Bailey Clan today and sending my deepest condolences and sympathy.

I was devastated to learn of Lynda’s passing on FB. She was my college roommate at St. Lawrence and have kept in touch ever since. I always looked forward to her Christmas newsletter and was very impressed with her SLU writings. She will be missed!

I have been blessed to have had so much time with Lynda. I consider her a friend and I’m grateful she shared so many of her stories and written history essays with me. I feel as if I know so much about her amazing family through our time together and the “Bailey News.” It was truly an honor to learn about her life and interests over the years. Kindest regards and sympathy to all of her family.

When our house burned down, you and John let us stay with you and helped us get back on our feet. Not just neighbors, but family to us! We will miss her very much. In difficult times, you won’t understand everything God is doing. Trust He is in control, and stay close to Him in prayer and praise. He will carry you through. Much LOVE!

So deeply sorry for the loss of your dear mother. Looks a lot like her amazing mother Via. Both Tony and I still miss your wonderful grandparents and of course the visits of Lynda and her family throughout the years here in Geneva. We still refer to the house next to ours as Via’s even though the occupants have been there for 17 years. Many heartfelt condolences to you all and I know your grandparents were so proud of you all as well as your parents. Take good care of one another and carry on the Bailey traditions with love and high energy like mom. With many blessing and love to all….Mary Tony children and grandchildren

We are so very sorry to learn of Lynda.s passing. She and I were Platform Tennis partners for several years in the 1970’s. She was a fun partner and always full of surprises. We won many of our matches due to her ability to distract our opponents! She will be missed.!
