I worked with Jim for years at Gannett (for awhile Jim’s wife Judy was a teller at my bank) Jim was one of the GOOD guys and I appreciate the time we worked together

Worked with Jim for decades at Gannett. Always in a positive and inspiring attitude. May he rest in peace. He as definitely earned it.
Jim made working at the Democrat & Chronicle a much more enjoyable place. He was always personable, down to earth and respectful. He took great care of his advertising accounts and was always in a good mood no matter how tight deadlines were. Rest in peace, Jim. My condolences to your family.
Judy,
my deepest sympathy to you and your family. My Mom and Dad spoke so highly of both of you.

Jim and Judy were very welcoming when we moved to Mendon and we became neighbors. Jim was a true gentleman and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. You have our deepest sympathy.
So sorry to hear about Mr Ball……
Coach Jim was my favorite hockey coach growing up.

Though I never personally met Jim, as a lifelong Amerks fan I remember him well as the club’s PR manager. He was very personable, and was lauded for the job he did during the team’s Golden Years under Joe Crozier. I also recall his talent as an illustrator.
RIP, sir.

I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT JIM;S PASSING.
I MISSED SEEING YOU AT PANARA’S
They say nothing that happens to us is an accident. This past year I drove through the old neighborhood 3 times enroute to nearby destinations. Then just before Christmas I drove past the old boat staging area on Pattonwood Drive. Immediately I was back there helping your dad get “Junior Miss” ready for launching. Fond, fond memories of your lovely parents and sisters and days gone by. I offer my sincerest condolenses to you and family on your loss of Jim, Linda and Patty. “Where have all the flowers gone?”
