I will always remember how excited Jeff and Karen were to come to Michigan to visit AJ and Kelsey. They always included the extended family and I was so happy that I was included. Your entire family is in my thoughts and prayers.

I don’t even know where to start here. A lifetime of stories told, and listened to with genuine interest and care. Hilarious and always encouraged people to go to a fun and entertaining (i.e. inappropriate) place in their conversations. Had a great time introducing him to some of my friends in the classic car scene over the last few years. Very grateful that even after I moved to Chicago, I still seemed to bump into him most of the time when he was in Scotia. Thank you so, so much for all that you’ve done for this family. We will never stop telling your stories and thinking about you.

You couldn’t help but smile around Uncle Jeff! One of my favorite stories was when he came out onto the dance floor during my wedding wearing his Antonio Pierce jersey, and declared that the Giants were going to win the Super Bowl, which they did!

Jeff was simply a “cool dude” nothing phased him, no matter what he always remained at the same pace and never seen him get excited. He loved trying the different micro beers and conversation with anyone. Jeff always talked about his daughters and grand children.
One day he scared the crap out of me, I was in the kitchen and I heard this engine vroom vroom,
I stepped out in the garage and at the “end of the driveway” was this 65 Comet nobody moving in the car and the engine going vroom vroom I sort of freaked out and had flash backs to the movie Carrie. I thought a 65 Comet was going to drop into drive and run me down!
Then the car slowly creeps toward me up the drive way I’m like ok this is real freaky now. Then I see its Jeff with a big smile on his face. Showing me his new 65 Comet, he was so proud of that car. I said man you freaked me out. He goes yeah like the movie Carrie I said spot on man, we laughed.

We didn’t know Jeff for very long, but he sure made a lasting impression He was always available to a “neighbor” in need and made himself part of the “Meredith Ave family” very quickly. His loving, caring spirit will always be near. Sending peace to all who loved him. John and Cindy.

Uncle Jeff, we are going to miss you a lot. You were always incredibly fun to be around and holiday gatherings with you were always a highlight. I’ll forever remember your rendition of the Lollipop Guild song (which Levi and I will continue to do to annoy my father for you) as well as Cabin Colony. Thank you for all of the laughs over the years. Please try to behave up there with Grandma.

Jeff was the best brother-in-law I could ask for. He made the happy times happier, and the sad times a little less sad. We could tell each other anything, and always felt a little better after our talks. I watched him grow from a teenager who danced on top of a bar when he was too young to be in that bar, to the wonderful husband, father, and grandfather that he became. I will miss him more than I can ever express.

I met Jeff at work @ RIC almost 3 years ago. We shared an office and cubicle wall. He was the most sincere man I’d ever met. Never got rattled, never a cross word, and thoughtful so very thoughtful. He genuinely cared about everyone. A brilliant engineering mind that processed everything in his own special way. Jeff and my husband (who also works at RIC in production) shared a love of all things NY Giants. During this trying past year I will always remember Jeff coming back after quarantine and showing myself and Robin the picture of him all dressed up in his Sunday best to watch the livestream of his church’s Sunday Morning Service! Best photo ever! I miss him & the sunshine he brought everyday to the office. How blessed everyone who knew him and loved him were for having met him

We always enjoyed our time with Jeff. We saw him and Karen at MSU tailgates and family gatherings with AJ and Kelsey. Jeff was such a warm, friendly person. We will miss the conversations and laughter while tapping into each other’s cooler for the latest microbrew. Our deepest sympathy to Karen and the entire family.

My brother Jeff….I will miss you dearly. Jeff was nothing less than a great man with a kind sole. His family was always first. I have so many memories growing up. Trips to camp at Schroon Lake in the summers, Sunday rides to our Grandparents in Edinburgh in Dad’s Ford Country Squire station wagon. Jeff was always full of fun. Life of the party. Us three brothers over recent years all bought classic cars.. Jeff’s, that beautiful 65 Mercury Comet Caliente that he was so proud of. Last Fall we all got together with a few other friends and had our own cruise in at Mr. Bill’s Drive In in Ballston Spa. Jeff drove that hot rod all the way from Rochester. We were all so happy. My brother….God Bless and Rest in Peace.

Jeff and I worked in the labs for a number of years while he went to Robert’s Wesleyan college at night to become an engineer.
Shortly after that I started working for him. Our families became close. I watched his girls grow up to become beautiful women.
My daughter told me ge other day, that he and Donna gave her a crib for my grandson Nick.
Thats the kind of persons he and Donna were.
Jeff brought me to my first NASCAR event at Watkins Glen. From that time on we net at his house for the Daytona 500 every year. We would take turns cooking the meal for the day.
Jeff, Brian and myself went to the Glen and Michigan race tracks to watch NASCAR races. I remember that one year in Michigan, we went to a gi cart track on a rainy afternoon on our way back to our hotel. It was a blast as we sprayed water from our tires all over each other. What a great memory.
There are so many more memories,7 too numerous to mention here. Rest in peace my brother from a different mother.

Sad to hear of Jeff’s passing, a total shock. Jeff and I worked together at Xerox and then at Transact in Ithaca. He was one of the finest people I have encountered in my career. My condolences to his family. Life passes too quickly, live and give glory to God.
