Funeral Mass Wednesday 10AM at Church of the Resurrection, 63 Mason Rd., Fairport. Interment White Have Memorial Park. Louis graduated from Rochester East High School class of 1953 and then pursued his Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from Clarkson University, graduating four year later in 1957. At Clarkson Louis was an ROTC cadet and served in the army reserve until 1969.
Louis and Bernadine (Sloan) married on February 4th 1961, they were blessed with four children, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren at the time of his death.
Lou worked the majority of his professional career for the NYS Department of Transportation. His final assignment before retirement was Resident Engineer for Monroe County East.
Lou was a dedicated Husband, Father and Grandfather; he was passionate about everything related to golf and all sports in general, especially those involving his kids and grandkids. Most notably, he was a spirited baseball coach for many years (hissons), and became a serious lacrosse aficionado, he could be seen pacing the sidelines for 35 years spanning 2 generations of players, sons and grandsons.
Lou’s sense of humor and good nature was his primary hallmark, he was extremely generous. He will be greatly missed and forever loved.
