Perinton – On Feb. 5, 2018, James W. Beisheim succumbed to his five-year battle with Alzheimer’s disease. He served our country in the U.S. Air Force following his graduation from Cornell University with a degree in engineering. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Margaret (nee Schwab), his five children: Cheryl (James), Ann (Alan), Katherine (Steven), James Jr. (Melissa), and Melissa (Steven), and his nine grandchildren: Matthew (Christina), Andrew, Jaclyn, Alyssa, Brian, Arianna, Julie, Alexander, and Michael.
James will be remembered for his quiet, yet strong demeanor, his high school baseball and football abilities (“Big Lefty”), his dry sense of humor, his interest in trailer travel, and his woodworking and woodcarving skills.
The family will be holding a private memorial in the spring.
