Words cannot express how much you will be missed. From our hour long hotdog grilling… yes Michelle, it took an hour to grill dogs ( forget the empty beer cans) to our 15 minute phone calls, all will cease with fond memories of each lingering in my mind. I could not have asked for a better father (or mother). Thank you for being you and providing me hope in my darkest times. I shall raise a few (yes a few) beers and bourbons in your honor this weekend. I love you.
Leo M. Bianchi was a very nice fellow as well as neighbor on our street. He always stay smile and cheerful to everybody. I fondly remembered him as a good camper. He and his late wife, Pat, and his two sons were wonderful people I grew up with. Fly high!
Dad, we cannot begin to tell you how much we miss you already. You leave behind a legacy filled with great memories, valuable life lessons, and thoughtful spirituality that will live with us forever. Ever stoic and never complaining about your hardships was your way. Your quiet demeanor, sharp wit, and faith in God held with it much heartfelt power for those you loved and touched.
Even though 300 miles have separated us for many years, I always felt connected in a deep way to you and Mom – I only wished you used FaceTime more often ?.
We know you are in a better place with our departed family in Heaven, and with Mom and her angels…now you are joined with your own angels, and the Holy Father.
God Bless Dad (Papa B.). We love you always and forever.

Leo,a loving husband to Pat,a devoted father and father in law to Alan,Joe,Michelle & Sharon,an inspiring grandfather to Ashlei,Joey and Marco, a good friend to many. We shall miss you,Leo. Rest In Peace ❤️
Uncle Leo was a success in all of his roles in life – father, husband, uncle, brother, son, son-in-law, to name a few. Most importantly, a caregiver for many years to our beloved Aunt Patty. My most fun memory of Uncle Leo was his 1976 television debut on “Bowling for Dollars”. I don’t recall the outcome, but it was a blast to cheer him on at the Channel 13 studios! Heaven’s newest angel is playing the accordian! Rest in peace, Uncle Leo!
I have many fond memories of my Uncle Leo. He was such a kind, quiet and loving man and devoted husband to our Aunt Patty. I keep remembering all our Christmas Eves together along with family parties and also being the flower girl in your wedding. I know you are with the angles and Aunt Patty. Say hello to all our family members we have lost. I treasure all those memories.. Rest In Peace Uncle Leo. You will never be forgotten
Leo was the coolest dad in the Loop . Joe and his family let their home be my home after school. We were all a handful of wild kids, and Leo had great patience with us whether he included us in camping, swimming in the Bianchi pool, or just letting us be teens around his house. (Which we were, almost all the time!) Thanks Leo, peace be with you..
I’m so sorry to read about the loss of your sweet father and grandfather. My condolences go to all of you. Such a beautiful family picture of all of you. God bless you and give you peace and strength.
So sorry for all of your loss. Stay strong and think of all the good your Dad did for all of you and many others.
Hard to believe is was over 50 years ago when the neighborhood fun began!
All of my best to all of you.
John
