Port Charlotte, FL. – December 14, 2018. Born May 28, 1921 to Stanley and Florence (Rugraff) Smith. Survived by 3 daughters, Dannela (Muller) Varel, Patricia (Muller) Maxwell and Margaret (Muller) Spencer; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by husbands, J. Robert Muller and Donald C. Bidwell; sister, Ruth Draxl; brothers, Robert and Stanley Smith.
June received her Bachelor’s Degree from Nazareth College and a Master’s Degree from Brockport State College. She began her career teaching at Holy Rosary Catholic School in 1958. She taught school in the Greece School District and was Principal at Lakeshore Elementary School in Greece. She moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1978 where she was Principal of Rover Elementary School in Tempe, AZ. She moved to Florida after she retired.
Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2018 10AM in the Chapel at the Church of Assumption, Fairport. She will be inurnment in the Columbarium at Assumption Church. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Nazareth College or World Vision where she sponsored 2 children.
