Mr. Boardman was always kind to my family. Thinking of you.
Uncle Dick, you will be greatly missed. You were my Godfather, and a great role model.
Hands down, Best Math teacher I ever had. I think he would be shocked that I am a math teacher now. I hope I instill the love for math in my students as he did for me ❤️
Kelly, that is awesome! I remember you from middle school! Such a beautiful testimony of a great man!
Dick, you were my first “unofficial” mentor at Pittsford. I was the youngest hire in the district at the time and you always took time to see how I was doing. So many morning chats in the hallway that I absolutely loved! I was lucky to have the room across from you! After I figured out the ropes, you continued to be a great friend and even convinced me to work the Big Orange camp too. When I decided to leave to pursue my college coaching career you gave me a piece of paper with the lyrics to “My Way” by Frank Sinatra. You smiled and gave me the encouragement I needed at that time to try something very scary. I can never repay you for your friendship and express how much it all meant to me Dick. Thank you for who you are Dick and God bless all your wonderful friends and family. With love, Chris Bianchi, Julie Bianchi, Zane Bianchi and Brenna Bianchi
Rest In Peace Dick. God Bless Jane, Colleen, Kevin and their families. Always enjoyed spending time and listening to him talk about the history of the Boardman family, his adventures and the Fighting Irish.
Love, Chris, Alejandra and Kieran Boardman
sTo one of the most delightful cousin in the Boardman family. Our memories go back to playing softball behind 45 State Street, playing with you and Monica when we were only 5 and 6 years old. Growing up with you and Monica on State Street was the best. I know you are in gods hands and with your family.
God bless you, Much love, Nancy Boardman Randall.

Cousin Dick Boardman we grew up in Manchester, NY n attended Red Jacket Schools. You lived up the street from our family on State Street n we always came up to your house to see your train set n borrow tools from your dad Johhny. I never forget your dad washing his car n we would go for a ride on the dirt roads around Manchester to dry it off.. You were an outstanding athlete at Red Jacket n went on to star at Brockport College.. You lived an outstanding life n did everything you could for your family. May God Bless you and may you forever RIP.
Mr. Boardman, my seventh grade home room teacher Mendon Center School. Always enjoyed listening to his and Jane’s travel experiences. and sports games they attended. Avid sports person!! Wonderful Fairport family. Good bless you, Jane, Kevin and Colleen.
So sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Boardman. Sincere condolences to Jane (my former wonderful Physical Education teacher) and his entire family.
I am saddened to read of Dick’s passing. Dick was a customer of mine at my lawnmower shop “Oderkirk’s Shop” in Victor for many years. Dick was always a joy to talk with over the years-a true gentleman.
Blessings to your family during this difficult time in your lives.

Cousin Dick was such a caring family man, a real Class Act! It saddens me to lose such a great guy! He was always the first one to go visit my Mom when she was in the hospital. Very faithful to his Catholic religion. Just an all around likeable guy. It’s our loss not to have you in our life. God Bless you Dick! ?
My father coached against Mr. Boardman when he played basketball for Red Jacket and recognized his many contributions. Personally I had a great fortune to talk with Dick about the history of Manchester-Shortsville area sports. He was a class act, a wonderful family man, a lifelong educator and a fellow Brockport Alum. Your work on earth is now complete, a job well done! God Speed Mr. Boardman.
To Jane and the Boardman family. I was so sorry to hear of your loss. We remember those days when our children were in school together and on sport teams. Dick was a great person always with a smile on his face. He will be missed.
Yesterday was e difficult day for the Boardman family and myself. We attended the Funeral Mass for our cousin Richard “Dick “Boardman who had passed away & is now watching over us from Haven! The weather cooperated as it was a sunny blue sky day. Kevin gave a wonderful tribute to his Father with his eulogy! The church was full of family & friends. Following the burial at St. Rose Cemetery a reception was held for all at Saint Dominic‘s church hall. Dick was a loving family man, & in his younger days a outstanding athlete. I most admired him because he always conducted himself as a gentleman & is a perfect example of a Husband, Father, relative, & friend. I will miss my cousin as we shared many good times together and trips all over the East coast. May he forever Rest In Peace!!
