Formerly of Fairport, died suddenly on November 18 at the age of 26. Son of Jon and Jennifer, brother of Cameron and Brianna, boyfriend of Molly Robinson. Grandson of Paul Martin and Barbara Boon. Predeceased by grandparents Christine Martin and Bradley Boon.
Tyler was a member of the United States Coast Guard for almost 8 years; stationed in Milwaukee, WI. Prior to Milwaukee, he was stationed in Cleveland, OH. Tyler was a 2016 graduate of Fairport High School, where he was a 4 year varsity swimmer and a member of the rugby team his senior year.
Tyler loved his family and friends. He would always be the one who offered comfort or a goofy comment or silly gesture to make you laugh when you needed it most. Tyler loved the Coast Guard and serving his community and country. He particularly loved to be a part of the community outreach programs which tied directly to his compassionate nature. We will all miss his smile, hugs, witty one liners and his uncanny ability to light up any room he was in.

It breaks our heart when we think of Tyler. It was always a joy to spend time with him and Molly when we had the opportunity. He was a fine young man and will always be in our hearts. May you find strength in the love of family and the memories you hold dear.
Dear Mr. Boon and Mrs.Boon, Cam, Bri, and Molly. I am so sorry for your loss. Tyler was such an amazing person that I could call a brother. He has been there for me since we were kids and it was such a pleasure to have him in my life. I will truly miss him every single day. He loved all of you so much and would tell me how proud he was to support all that you did, from sports to school and events. I am so glad he was able to be in my wedding and be such a special part in my heart. He always put a smile on my face from doing the cha cha in the bar together at college to blowing up fireworks in some random yard. He really knew how to live life to the fullest. I can remember it just like it was yesterday when he used to walk across Whitney road to my house to play basketball or when we played rec basketball. He loved every one of you. I will miss him so much.
Rip buddy, you are one of my truest friends. I will make sure my kids and keep pictures around and remember every memory we had. See you again one day. Go bills. Love ya.
Jen, Jon, Cam, Brie & Molly,

Although our overlap on the Fairport swim team was on the shorter side, I remember just how likable and friendly Tyler was. A hard worker and great teammate.

I swam with Tyler during my time at Fairport. Tyler was an extremely well liked and a funny individual that also knew when to put his head down and get to work. Awesome teammate. Once a Raider, always a raider.

I swam with Tyler for 2 years in high school. He was such a hard worker in the pool and he was always trying to make all of us laugh during drylands and in the bus. His personality was electric and he really lit up the room. He was an amazing teammate and a truly kind soul.
Rest in Peace my friend. My love to the family and friends of Tyler. I’ll miss you my friend.
