Fairport – Passed December 17, 2018 at age 82. Jan was faithful to the end and was ready to meet her Creator. Jan was born in Buffalo, NY. She graduated from Mount St. Mary’s High School and became a Registered Nurse from Sisters Hospital. She lived in Fairport for nearly 50 years and was an active Parishioner at the Church of Assumption. Jan had many many wonderful friends and extended family.
She was a member of the 6:45ers and active in the Garden Club, Canasta and Mah Jongg. She was giving life lessons right up to the end. Her requests were to stay strong, stay together and always be kind.
She is survived by her loving husband Bob of nearly 60 years; her children, JoEllen (Mike) Gregus, Mary Jane, Tim (Kellie), Kurt (Noreen), Pete (Jenny) and Sarah (Steve) Marcoccia; she is also survived by her 15 grandchildren, Kevin, Meghan, Danny (Brittany), Kayleen, Shaw, Mattie, Ali, Christina, Patrick, Michael, Sarah, Christopher, Taylor, Steven and Katie; she is also survived by her sister, Trudy Bauer and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her son, Kent; her parents, Gertrude and Hugh; and twin sister, Jo.
The family thanks all of the wonderful staff at RGH, Fairport Baptist Home and the Hildebrand Hospice for their gracious and loving care.
Calling hours Friday, December 28, 2018 4-7PM at Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home, 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Rd. (Egypt Location). Funeral Mass Saturday, December 29, 2018 10AM at Church of Assumption Fairport. (https://www.whitestallion.com/) Interment in the Spring at St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Parkinson Foundation Greater Rochester Chapter.

So very sorry on the loss of our dear 6:45 friend. Jan was always such a kind, gentle soul. We will miss her loving, caring spirit. Blessings for healing.

Aunt Jan was always nice and supportive to me. She was always a positive force and presence at any event. The Bouley family always followed her lead by being caring, compassionate and kind. Her life is worthy of a great admiration and honor.She set the standard in being a good person.
