Fairport – Passed away peacefully on October 29, 2018 at age 89. Predeceased by her husband Rene. Survived by her children James (Mari) Bourque, Michael (Deborah) Bourque & Lynn (Gregory) Jones; grandchildren Melissa (AJ) Peck, Rachael Jones (fiance Joshua Thompson), Zachary Bourque (fiancee Barbara Riso), Lindsay (Sean) Tackett & Christopher Bourque (Salvina Morelli); great-grandchildren Remy, Harley, Leia, Briella, Giuliana, Alexis & Emily; sister Phyllis Granata; many nieces & nephews.
Rena was an inspiration to all that followed her journey, demonstrating strength, determination and courage. She was loved and will be missed by many. Rena’s family thanks and extends its appreciation and gratitude to friends, family and staff at the Wilmot Cancer Center and the Palliative Care Unit at Strong Memorial Hospital for their compassion and caring.
A private memorial service will be held for family.
