Pamela M. Bowers of Penfield, NY passed away peacefully on April 24,2026 at Strong Memorial Hospital at the age of 79. Pam is survived by her husband Thomas Bowers and was a devoted wife of 53 years. Pam was also a loving “Dog Mom” to her five American Eskimos Princess, Brittany, Kelsie, Chloe, and Koda.
Pam looked forward to sunny days to tend to her many flowers and she had quite a green thumb. She also enjoyed and looked forward to her outings shopping with her best friend Gail Smith at Macy’s and getting her two-for-one burger at Tom Wahls. Pam was a kind soul with a heart of gold, ready to help anyone she met. Her smile was contagious and she always found good in others.
Pam worked for 19 years in the finance department of General Railway Signal and then at Acme Precision.
In addition to her husband Thomas, Pam is survived by her sister Gloria Waggoner of Maryland, brothers-in-law Charlie (Pattie) Bowers and Jim Bowers, and nieces and nephews Connie (Oscar) Wilson, Brenda Stuhlmiller, Angie Bowers, and Alex (Marti) Bowers.
Pam was predeceased by her parents George Montheith and Lela Kurzrock and her sister Gale Rodas.
At the family’s request, there will be no calling hours. A celebration of Pam’s life will be scheduled at a later date.

Pam was a very caring person. I first met Pam
In my junior high school years being the sister in law on my best friend Jim.
Later I was fortunate enough to be Pam
And Tom’s neighbor on Parce Avenue in Fairport.
I will always remember Pam’s infectious smile and laughter.

We have lived next door to Pam for 10 plus years. She was always smiling and quick to offer friendly conversation. She was a gentle soul and will be missed.
Pam was a kind person and a good neighbor. I always enjoyed talking with her. She will be missed. May she rest in peace.
